Meet your guide at the Kanayama Lake Recreation Center. We'll get you checked in and provide your board, paddle, and life jacket.

Basic Lesson on Shore

Before heading out, your guide will give you a simple lesson on land, covering how to paddle, stand up, and other basic techniques.

A swimsuit and a towel.

What You MUST Bring

These items are essential for the tour. Please be sure to bring them.

Swimsuit or Clothing That Can Get Wet
Quick-drying clothes are a great option for a sunny day.
Towel
For after the tour, especially if you plan to use the onsen.
Useful items for rafting: sunscreen, water bottle, sandals, and glasses with a strap.

Nice to Have

These items are not required, but can make your experience more comfortable.

Footwear
  • Sandals (very convenient for changing after the tour).
  • Water-friendly sneakers if you prefer your own shoes (rental shoes are available).
Eyeglasses / Contacts
  • We recommend using disposable contact lenses if possible.
  • For glasses, a strap is recommended (rental available: 300 JPY).
Drinks
  • Bottled water is useful for rehydration after the tour.
Sunscreen
  • Recommended if you are concerned about sunburn on your face or other exposed areas.
