Check-in & Welcome

Meet our friendly team at the Michi-no-Eki (Roadside Rest Area) "Shizentaikan Shimukappu". We'll get you checked in and ready for your adventure.

Transfer & Gear Up

After a short transfer to the river's start point, we'll provide you with all the necessary safety gear, including a wetsuit, helmet, and life jacket.

Safety Briefing

Your certified guide will conduct a thorough safety briefing, including how to paddle and what to do in the water. Your safety is our priority!

Change & Farewell

We'll take you back to the base to change into your dry clothes. Please return all rental gear to our staff. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to see you again for another adventure!

What to Prepare

A swimsuit and a towel, essential items for rafting.

What You MUST Bring

These items are essential for the tour. Please be sure to bring them.

Swimsuit or Underwear
To wear under the wetsuit. Something that can get wet is fine.
Towel
For after the tour. A standard bath towel is recommended.
Useful items for rafting: sunscreen, water bottle, sandals, and glasses with a strap.

Nice to Have

These items are not required, but can make your experience more comfortable.

Footwear
  • Sandals (very convenient for changing after the tour).
  • Water-friendly sneakers if you prefer your own shoes (rental shoes are available).
Eyeglasses / Contacts
  • We recommend using disposable contact lenses if possible.
  • For glasses, a strap is recommended (rental available: 300 JPY).
  • For hard contacts, swimming goggles are available for rent (200 JPY).
Drinks
  • Bottled water is useful for rehydration after the tour.
Sunscreen
  • Recommended if you are concerned about sunburn on your face or other exposed areas.
Camera
  • For safety reasons, personal cameras and smartphones are not permitted on the tour. Our guides will be taking photos of the adventure for you!
