Check-in & Gear Up

Meet our friendly team at the former Kanayama Station. We'll get you checked in and fitted into your full canyoning gear, including a wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, and canyoning shoes.

Transfer & Safety Talk

After a short transfer to the canyon's start point, your certified guide will conduct a thorough safety briefing. We'll explain all techniques to ensure you feel confident and safe.

Let's get used to the water temperature and practice moving through the canyon. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities!

What to Prepare

A swimsuit and a towel, essential items for rafting.

What You MUST Bring

These items are essential for the tour. Please be sure to bring them.

Swimsuit or Underwear
To wear under the wetsuit. Something that can get wet is fine.
Towel
For after the tour. A standard bath towel is recommended.
Useful items for rafting: sunscreen, water bottle, sandals, and glasses with a strap.

Nice to Have

These items are not required, but can make your experience more comfortable.

Footwear
  • Sandals (very convenient for changing after the tour).
  • Canyoning shoes are included, but you can bring water-friendly sneakers if you prefer.
Eyeglasses / Contacts
  • We recommend using disposable contact lenses if possible.
  • For glasses, a strap is recommended (rental available: 300 JPY).
  • For hard contacts, swimming goggles are available for rent (200 JPY).
Drinks
  • Bottled water is useful for rehydration after the tour.
Sunscreen
  • Recommended if you are concerned about sunburn on your face or other exposed areas.
Camera
  • For safety reasons, personal cameras and smartphones are not permitted on the tour. Our guides will be taking photos of the adventure for you!

Please gather in the parking lot of the former station building. Our staff will be there to greet you.

Please Note: JR Kanayama Station was closed in March 2024 and no longer operates as a train station. However, the building itself remains and serves as our designated meeting point.
