What Exactly is SUP?
SUP, or Stand Up Paddleboarding, is a popular watersport where you stand on a board similar to a surfboard and use a long, single-bladed paddle to move through the water. The boards are wide and very stable, allowing most beginners to stand up quickly and confidently.
It's an incredibly versatile activity. You can paddle, sit, kneel, or even lie down and relax. It’s a peaceful way to connect with nature and a fun, gentle workout.

Our Unwavering Commitment to Safety
More Than a Rulebook, It's Our Promise
For us, safety isn't just a list of rules; it's the fundamental promise we make to every guest. We always check the weather and wind conditions before a tour and will never head out if we judge the conditions to be unsafe.
This philosophy means we may change or cancel tours to ensure your well-being. We believe that making a safe decision is the most important part of providing a truly great outdoor experience. This commitment is the foundation of the trust we've built with our guests for over 30 years.
Your SUP Questions, Answered
I have terrible balance. Can I still do it?
Yes, absolutely! You can enjoy the entire tour sitting or kneeling on the board, which is very stable. Standing up is optional, and many people prefer to just relax and paddle while seated.
Is it difficult to stand up?
It's easier than it looks! Our stable boards and the calm lake water make for ideal learning conditions. Your guide will teach you the technique, and most people are able to stand up within their first tour.
What happens if I fall in?
Falling in is part of the fun! The water is refreshing, your life jacket will keep you afloat, and the leash keeps your board nearby. Your guide will show you the easy way to get back on.
Will I get wet?
You might get a few splashes, and your feet will likely get wet. Some people fall in, some don't. We recommend dressing with the expectation that you might take a swim!
