Check-in & Welcome

Meet our friendly team at the former Ochiai Station. We'll get your whole family checked in and provide a warm welcome to start your day.

Transfer & Gear Up

After a short transfer to the river's start point, we'll provide everyone with safety gear, including wetsuits, helmets, and life jackets, ensuring a comfortable fit for all ages.

Safety Briefing

Your certified guide will conduct a fun and easy-to-understand safety briefing. Your family's safety is our top priority!

Gentle River Cruise

It's time to hit the gentle currents! Work as a family to paddle through scenic sections and enjoy the beautiful nature of the Sorachi River.

Swim & Observe Fish

We'll stop in a calm, clear area where you can safely jump in for a swim or use our special "aqua scopes" to see the fish underwater!

What to Prepare

What You MUST Bring

Swimsuit or Underwear: To wear under the wetsuit.
Towel: For after the tour.

Useful items for rafting: sunscreen, water bottle, sandals, and glasses with a strap.

Nice to Have

These items are not required, but can make your experience more comfortable.

Footwear

Sandals (very convenient for changing after the tour).
Water-friendly sneakers if you prefer your own shoes (rental shoes are available).

Eyeglasses / Contacts

We recommend using disposable contact lenses if possible.
For glasses, a strap is recommended (rental available: 300 JPY).
For hard contacts, swimming goggles are available for rent (200 JPY).

Drinks

Bottled water is useful for rehydration after the tour.

Sunscreen

Recommended if you are concerned about sunburn on your face or other exposed areas.

Camera

For safety reasons, personal cameras and smartphones are not permitted on the tour. Our guides will be taking photos of the adventure for you!

Access: Approx. 20m from Tomamu Resort / 50m from Furano / 1.5h from New Chitose Airport (CTS) / 1h 10m from Obihiro

Please gather in the parking lot of the former station building. Our staff will be there to greet you.

Please Note: JR Ochiai Station was closed in March 2024 and no longer operates as a train station. However, the building itself remains and serves as our designated meeting point.
