Meeting Point

Location: Parking lot of the Minamifurano Town Community Center (Ochiai Branch) / Ochiai District Multipurpose Center.

Address: Ochiai, Minamifurano, Sorachi District, Hokkaido

Access: Approx. 1h from Furano / 1h 30m from New Chitose Airport (CTS) / 1h 10m from Obihiro

Please gather in the parking lot behind the community center building. Our staff will be there to greet you.

Please Note: Some map apps may show an incorrect location for this address, as it has no street number. Please search by the facility name (Minamifurano Town Community Center Ochiai Branch), or set Mapcode 608 725 559*21. The parking lot is a short way into town from the Ochiai intersection (with traffic light) on Route 38 — on the side opposite the highway, not the highway-facing side of the building.

Meeting Point Access Guide

Illustrated map showing the Ochiai meeting point parking lot behind the Minamifurano Town Community Center.

How to find it: Search by facility name — "Minamifurano Town Community Center Ochiai Branch" or "Ochiai District Multipurpose Center" — rather than the street address, which has no house number and can point to the wrong spot on some map apps. For car navigation, Mapcode 608 725 559*21 is the most reliable option.

Driving directions: From Route 38, turn at the Ochiai intersection (the one with a traffic light) onto Prefectural Road 1117 and continue a short way into town. The parking lot is on the far side of the community center building from Route 38 — not the side facing the highway.

What to look for: The community center building shown in the map above. Please park in the lot circled in red, just behind the building.

Please note: A photo of this meeting point is not yet available — please use the illustrated map and directions above to find us. Once everyone has gathered, we'll drive together to our Ochiai base along paved roads.
